Purpose: The ACS Ambassadors Program allows student members to participate in the planning and execution of the local section's vision. Undergraduate and graduate students attending an institution (community college, two-year, four-year college/university) that encompasses the Eastern North Carolina ACS local section are encouraged to apply.
Deadline: Applications are accepted during the Fall Semester of each academic year, with additional applications accepted on a rolling basis.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the travel grant, the student must be presenting at the conference.
Term Limit: Successful applicants will serve 1-year terms with yearly renewals available.
Additional factors: The anticipation by the board is that the student ambassadors assist executive committee members, and potential subcommittees as need arises, in the planning and execution of programming designed to foster stronger relationships between both ACS and non-ACS members in our respective communities within the ENC section.
